I’m writing to let you know of something very cool that’s going on, and I thought you might be interested in helping out. A US Army Soldier stationed in Iraq has taken it upon himself to start a humanitarian mission to deliver teddy bears to Iraqi children. How’s he doing it?
He’s letting the bears parachute down to their new owners. He’s a pilot, and his crew parachutes a bear down to any children they see while they’re flying their missions over Iraq.
If you would like to help out, the info is below. If not, I only ask that you pass this information along to anyone you know who might be interested. This is such a wonderful thing, to bring some happiness into a place so surrounded by war.

According to the site it says, “Stuffed animals must be clean and small- to medium-size. Stuffed animals should not display any religious sayings or symbols or anything that would be deemed offensive by the Iraqis.” A not-obvious restriction on the stuffed animals is no stuffed pigs J
