I'd really appreciate some help with this....

My friend is looking into Berklee College of Music and she was wondering if it's hard to get accepted, and if she has to be well-versed with a particular instrument to get in?

Thank you to anyone who replies.

If you're great on an instrument, it's competitive, but not impossible, and thus YES for #2! If she plays more than one instrument, awesome, but she should be particularly well versed in at least one.

according to the collegeboard, berklee admits 57% of its applicants, but im sure all the people who do apply are very good at a particular instrument, and that people who arent particularly good dont even bother applying. for more information, go here:http://apps.collegeboard.com/search/CollegeDetail.jsp?match=true&collegeId=3750&type=qfs&word=Berklee

or to the berklee website.

That's like asking if it's important to be good at math if you want to get into MIT.
