Hi. Does anyone know of any good charities that accept donations of used cosmetics, clothes, toys, school supplies, art supplies, and books in the Boston/Framingham area?

I've done internet searches and have come up with the usual, such as Salvation Army, Goodwill etc., but if somebody knows about good but lesser known charities, please send them my way!

Thank you.

Boomerangs, run by the AIDS Action Committee, takes most donations in decent condition and is a good cause.

FYI, Salvation Army is notoriously anti-queer, just so you can be aware of this if you're choosing to donate to them or shop there. Quick google search should tell you more if you aren't aware of their practices.
